Many of you saw the dance which was incorporated into the Christmas Eve services. Sacred Dance is not new. It is a way of worshiping God with the whole body, and adds a visual dimension to our service. I would like to find between 6-8 young women and teens, which would be willing to commit to ONE dance at a time. Any of the younger girls, in the church, who wish to learn Sacred Dance, may participate too. If there are enough volunteers, we can form two groups and have them dance at separate times or together. Having some dance background is certainly helpful, but not required. All I ask is that you love the Lord, and would like to express that love through the media of dance. If interested or need more information please call Sally Wheland 412-486-0372. “Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.” (Ps. 149:3)
To our former Seminary Intern, Laura Stone. Laura will be taking a position of Temporary Supply Pastor at the United Presbyterian Church of Slatington. She will be ordained in Orlando Florida on February 26th.
