Laura Stone - Seminary Intern Laura began her Seminary Internship at Parkwood on September 13, 2009. She began her studies at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in June of 2008. Laura was born and raised in Akron, Ohio, received a B.A. in English from the University of Akron and worked in various jobs in the Akron area before moving to Florida in 1995. While in Orlando, she worked for Walt Disney World until 2008.
Laura's faith journey has been an interesting one. Laura knew she wanted to serve God since she was a young adult. She became a Presbyterian in 2006 and joined the Presbyterian Church in Celebration, Florida. After serving in her local church she followed her call to Pittsburgh Seminary. The road to seminary has been long and winding...ask Laura about it...what a trip!

- What is your ideal meal? Anything Italian
- What is your favorite verse of scripture? Why? Ephesians 2:8 - it is the verse where I finally understood of God's saving grace.
- If you could have dinner with one Biblical figure (besides Jesus) who would it be and why? The Woman at the Well. Felt she was an early preacher
- Favorite sport? Favorite sports team? Football, Steelers!
