Thanks for Your Support!!!!
Many thanks for your support of the Youth Group's collection for the Souper Bowl. Your support help the Youth collect $358 and many, many bags of food. They took the money and filled 3 shopping carts full of groceries to donate to the Bread of Life Food Pantry!
Presbyterian Project Mission Trip
The Presbyterian Project has scheduled the 2014 Winter Mission Trip. We will be heading to DuBois, PA to continue work on flood relief February 16-22, 2014. There will be 3 options...attending the 1st half of the week, the 2nd half of the week or the entire week. We are also collecting Lowe's Gift Cards to help defer the cost of supplies for the trip. If you are interested, please contact the church at 412-486-9220.
Produce to People
The Session and members of Parkwood traveled to the North Side of Pittsburgh and helped serve 400 individuals (1,000 when you consider their families) food which consisted of frozen chicken, canned fruit, baked beans, potatoes, cabbage and apples. Produce to People helps provide 20,000 pounds of produce each month to those in need. We will be serving again in May and invite you to join us!
Parkwood Church participated in many activities serving those in our local community in 2013 and looks to strengthen our relationships with these agencies in 2014! Information on each Mission can be found HERE.

Prayer Cards in the pews are YELLOW for this time period. Please use these to place your concerns on the Prayer Walls located in the Narthex. These prayer concerns are prayed for during the week at Praying at Parkwood as well as by Rev. Jeff and Pastor Barb. You are encouraged to take an existing prayer concern and pray for that concern during the week as well.
