PARKWOOD CHURCH

I am a semi retired nurse who lives in West Deer Township. I have 2 daughters (age 26 and 30), 2 yellow labs, and 2 cats. Kind of like Noah! I enjoy outdoor activities and being a part of the missions we do at Parkwood.  I joined Parkwood 14 years ago. 

I have been attending Parkwood Church for at least 28 years. I have been married to my husband, Wally for 32 years. I have three adult children. Katie my oldest is a nurse at AGH, my son Andrew works for Hampton School District as a custodian and my youngest daughter is a nurse at UPMC. I have been very involved in the church for a long time. I taught Sunday school for many years. I led VBS for several years. I have been on the Christian Ed committee for many years. I been a choir member for a long time. I did take a period off when I had my children. I helped with youth group and went on several trips. I now have chaired fellowship committee for almost six years. I also am on the worship and music committee. I lead adult Sunday school with Anne Lassinger. I not too long ago joined Parkwood Church. I have met many wonderful people through out Parkwood Church. I have always felt Parkwood has been my church family.

I joined the Parkwood family in the early 80’s. I am a retired mechanic. I am widowed. I currently serve on the building and grounds committee.
